HBM 1-Z6FC3/100KG-1 Weighing Sensors
Developed in 1972 and optimized over decades, the Z6 load cell is based on strain gauge technology and is available in nine different versions with rated ranges from 5 kg to 1 ton. This bellows load cell has become the worldwide industrial weighing standard, with millions sold to date. It is commonly used in platform or belt scales, for example, and can also be used for tank weighing in combination with a weighing module. The metal bellows protects the strain gauges inside the load cell from moisture ingress. In addition, the Z6 load cell has been optimized for parallel applications. An explosion-proof version according to IECEx ATEX is also available.
